Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Posture Pal handles information when you use the iOS or Android app.

Information stored on your device

Posture Pal stores your reminder schedule, quiet hours, pause status, appearance preference, onboarding status, check-ins, streaks, completed routines, and milestones locally on your device. You do not need an account.

Notifications and Firebase

If you allow notifications, the app uses Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging to support reminder delivery. A device registration token may be sent to Firebase and stored in Cloud Firestore so Posture Pal can deliver remote notification messages. Tokens are technical identifiers and are not used to create a user profile.

Firebase may process device information, app-instance information, message-delivery information, diagnostics, and IP addresses as described in Firebase privacy documentation.

Advertising on Android

The Android version may display ads supplied by Google Mobile Ads. Google may process advertising identifiers, device information, IP addresses, ad interactions, diagnostics, and approximate location derived from an IP address to provide, secure, and measure ads. The iOS version does not display ads.

Information we do not request

Posture Pal does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, precise location, health records, payment information, or an in-app account.

Why information is used

• To save and run the reminder schedule you choose.
• To deliver notifications and record a check when you select the notification action.
• To show your locally stored progress and milestones.
• On Android, to display and measure advertising.
• To maintain app reliability, security, and abuse prevention.

Retention and deletion

You can delete check-ins, streaks, routines, and milestones from Settings → Reset progress. Uninstalling the app removes data stored by Posture Pal on that device. Notification providers may retain technical records according to their own policies. To request help with a stored messaging token, use the support page.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information is processed by service providers only as needed to operate the features described above, including Apple, Google Firebase, and—on Android—Google Mobile Ads. We may disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect users, the service, or others.

Children

Posture Pal is a general wellness tool and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us so we can review the request.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their legal and contractual safeguards.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its service providers change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
